THERA-SSAGE is an Approved Provider of Continuing Education
under the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage &
Bodywork (#328461), offering many classes that are of interest to
massage therapists who need Continuing Education for licensure.
We are now offering classes nation-wide and in Ireland as well as
right here at our facility in Rutherfordton.
THERA-SSAGE is located in Rutherfordton, North Carolina, a
historical small town in the western foothills. Centrally located
between Asheville and Charlotte, we are just a few miles down the
mountain from beautiful Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. Many great
restaurants, antique stores, and quaint shops will make your stay a
pleasant one. Come and visit for a day, and the next thing you
know, you'll be packing up and moving here! To learn more about
our beautiful area, check out the Rutherford County Chamber of
Commerce website. Our clean and spacious office is located
between McMahan's Funeral Home and the liquor store. If we can't
help you, maybe you ought to visit one of them!
THERA-SSAGE accepts insurance from those enlightened
companies that will pay. Please give your insurance company a
call before calling us if you have questions. Many companies
require that you have a doctor's referral and/or a pre-authorization
number before receiving any massage or chiropractic services.
Blue Cross Blue Shield and some others will pay for massage if
you are under the care of our chiropractor. Medicare and Medicaid
do not pay for massage therapy under any circumstances.
