The Big Mosey

The beautiful music on our website is "The Big Mosey" written by Will Hogwild
and recorded by Allen, Davis & Hogwild in 1999 on their critically acclaimed CD,
By the Light of the Moon. Yep, that's Allen, as in Laura Allen. Laura Allen plays the
harmonica on The Big Mosey. By the Light of the Moon contains 18 songs, four
of which were composed by Laura Allen. Laura also plays guitar and sings on
the CD.

Hogwild, as we are now known, has been performing together going on two
decades. We have made numerous appearances throughout North Carolina
and have been featured on public radio and public television.

We call our music "Cosmic Porch Music" because of our fondness for picking
on the porch and because it IS cosmic; it comes to us through the ethers and
we just have to play it.

We'll even autograph it for you. Will has many recordings under his belt and many

The reason I chose The Big Mosey is because it is about a journey, when the
lessons along the way are more important than the destination. Isn't that usually
the case? Sometimes we're just too caught up in ourselves to see it. And that's
