THERA-SSAGE is happy to file your insurance, if your plan covers our services.
Blue Cross Blue Shield, MedCost, United Healthcare, Kanawha, and Cigna will pay
for your massage only if you are under the care of our chiropractor. You must
have an initial consultation with our chiropractor, and see him every time you have
had three massage sessions in order for your insurance to pay. We must stress
that not every plan is the same, and not every plan pays. All BCBS that we are
familiar with pays, but that is not true of some of the other companies listed above.
Please call us or drop by with your insurance card and we will verify your
coverage with your company.
Mail Carriers Plan, Seventh Day Adventist Church Plan, the Parker Hannifin Plan
and several others are private plans that we have successfully billed in the past.
You are of course responsible for meeting your annual deductible and for all
copayments, and fully liable for any charges your company refuses to pay.
WE DO NOT ACCEPT MEDICARE OR MEDICAID. NEITHER PLAN PAYS FOR
MASSAGE THERAPY. Medicare will reimburse you only for your actual adjustment
of our chiropractic services; they will not pay for any consultation time or
adjustment of more than one area. We will be glad to provide you with a copy of
your receipt so you may file for your own reimbursement with them. If you are on
Medicare, any other insurance you have is considered secondary to Medicare.
You will have to pay us up front and turn in your own receipts to both Medicare and
your secondary provider in order to get reimbursed.
WE DO NOT ACCEPT WORKER'S COMP OR PERSONAL INJURY CASES that
require us to wait to get paid, due to the fact that we have both on our books that
are several years old. Our staff is paid at the time of service and we simply cannot
wait a few years to get paid for the work we do. We will be glad to provide you
with receipts and progress notes for you to turn in to your attorney for
reimbursement.
